Sketching at the Epicurus garden South Bank Brisbane Qld

Out with the Brisbane Urban Sketchers on the 3rd last day of summer, and it was so hot, we were cooking.  There  was a little breeze in the garden, and some of us sat at a b-b-q table under a huge umbrella and sketched.  I chose a beautiful fig tree.

I used artist licence and moved the Boab Bottle tree to my liking :)

I sketched on Bockingford 140ln cp using Elegant Writer Calligraphy pens 2.5 and 3.0 and used a water brush and a water mister for the effects.
